MikroTik is een Lets bedrijf dat in 1996 werd opgericht om routers en draadloze ISP-systemen te ontwikkelen. MikroTik biedt nu hardware en software voor internetconnectiviteit in de meeste landen over de hele wereld. Onze ervaring met het gebruik van industriestandaard pc-hardware en complete routingsystemen stelde ons in 1997 in staat om het RouterOS-softwaresysteem te creëren dat uitgebreide stabiliteit, controle en flexibiliteit biedt voor alle soorten data-interfaces en routing. In 2002 besloten we om onze eigen hardware te maken, en het merk RouterBOARD was geboren.
