Wat is Karaktervormgeving ?
In termen van de leek betekent 3D-modellering het geleidelijk ‘bouwen’ van een item door de daaropvolgende toevoeging van polygonen - kleine blokken met drie of meer hoekpunten. 3D-beeldhouwen, aan de andere kant, is een proces waarbij 3D-kunstenaars een veelhoekige mesh van een item manipuleren zoals echte beeldhouwers. Ze vormen, strekken en snijden het met digitale gereedschappen, wat resulteert in een zeer hoogwaardige weergave van een CG-object.
