Arnold is een geavanceerde Monte Carlo-renderer voor ray tracing die is gebouwd voor de eisen van lange animaties en visuele effecten. Oorspronkelijk ontwikkeld in samenwerking met Sony Pictures Imageworks en nu hun belangrijkste renderer, wordt Arnold gebruikt in meer dan 300 studio's wereldwijd, waaronder ILM, Framestore, MPC, The Mill en Digic Pictures. Arnold was de belangrijkste renderer van tientallen films van Monster House en Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs tot Pacific Rim en Gravity. Het is beschikbaar als een zelfstandige renderer op Linux, Windows en Mac OS X, met ondersteunde plug-ins voor Maya, 3ds Max, Houdini, Cinema 4D en Katana. Het is de ingebouwde interactieve renderer voor Maya en 3ds Max.
