Trainstorm - Ann Daniels


I have to admit that this page with this heading is the one where I usually get stuck. How do I summarise a profession that I love and that is by now so natural to me as breathing air? 
The best I can come up with is to tell you that I see myself as a supporter of the learning process of the learners aka participants. In order to discover and support the learning power of the people I work with, my undivided attention is on them and their learning needs. If I have played my supportive role right the learners will feel and be empowered at the end of the training, they will be able to direct their own learning in the future and find the support they need in their own environment. Learners who are truely able to direct their own learning is as far as I am concerned the best possible outcome of a training. It is hard to measure or proof but nevertheless amazing.      
To make it a little more concrete I will share my favourite training topics, the target groups I work and have worked with and the things (concepts, ideas and competences) I am developing  right now with you. ​

  • Entrepreneurial learning: developing ideas into projects and discovering talents and passions that can developed during the implementation of the project
  • Visibility, DEOR (dissemination and exploitation of the results of a project) and the use of social media

  • Coaching as a tool to support learning processes
  • E-learning tools
  • (Intercultural) learning during learning mobiltities like EVS and Comenius mobility
  • Fail forward: failing as an essential part of learning
