B2B-verkoop is een afkorting voor business-to-business-verkoop. Het verwijst naar bedrijven of verkopers die producten en diensten rechtstreeks aan andere bedrijven verkopen.

Dit loopt parallel met de business-to-consumer (B2C) -verkoop, waarbij producten en diensten rechtstreeks aan de consument worden verkocht.

Afhankelijk van het bedrijfsmodel / product, zijn B2B-verkopen er in drie verschillende soorten:

Type 1: Verkoop van toelevering

De leverancier verkoopt verbruiksartikelen die een ander bedrijf ondersteunen. Dit omvat kantoorbenodigdheden, werkkleding voor werknemers en apparatuur.

Ze hebben een vergelijkbaar proces als B2C-bedrijven. Het verschil zit hem echter in de hoeveelheid en de aankoopautorisatie.

In plaats van dat één persoon één inktpatroon koopt, koopt een werknemer 50 inktpatronen en heeft hij voor de aankoop goedkeuring nodig van een manager of beslisser.

Type 2: Groothandel / distributieverkoop

De groothandel verkoopt belangrijke productie- of detailhandelcomponenten aan andere bedrijven.

JJ Foods is een voorbeeld van een voedseldistributeur. Ze verkopen essentiële voedingsproducten aan restaurants en fastfoodrestaurants die vervolgens producten tegen een duidelijke prijs aan klanten serveren.

Type 3: Service / Softwareverkoop

De serviceprovider verkoopt een dienst in plaats van een product.

Als u belastingadministratie als voorbeeld gebruikt, kan dit een accountant zijn die overlegt met een klein bedrijf, of een accountantskantoor dat werkt met een groter bedrijf.

Het kan ook een dienst zijn die wordt verleend via software, zoals software voor belastingadministratie, Quickbooks.
