Een digitale spiegelreflexcamera (digitale SLR of DSLR) is een digitale camera die de optica en de mechanismen van een spiegelreflexcamera combineert met een digitale beeldsensor.
Het reflexontwerpschema is het belangrijkste verschil tussen een DSLR en andere digitale camera's. In het reflexontwerp gaat het licht door de lens en vervolgens naar een spiegel die afwisselend het beeld naar een prisma stuurt, dat het beeld in de zoeker laat zien, of naar de beeldsensor wanneer de ontspanknop wordt ingedrukt. De zoeker van een DSLR geeft een beeld weer dat niet wezenlijk zal verschillen van wat wordt vastgelegd door de sensor van de camera, aangezien het deze presenteert als een direct optisch beeld door de hoofdcameralens, in plaats van een beeld weer te geven door een afzonderlijke secundaire lens.
DSLR's hebben in de jaren 2000 grotendeels op film gebaseerde spiegelreflexcamera's vervangen.
