Wat is marketing analyse ?

Marketinganalyse omvat de processen en technologieën waarmee marketeers het succes van hun marketinginitiatieven kunnen evalueren. Dit wordt bereikt door prestaties te meten (bijv. Bloggen versus sociale media versus kanaalcommunicatie). Marketinganalyses maken gebruik van belangrijke bedrijfsstatistieken, zoals ROI, marketingtoeschrijving en algehele marketingeffectiviteit. Met andere woorden, het vertelt u hoe uw marketingprogramma's echt presteren.
Marketinganalyse verzamelt gegevens van alle marketingkanalen en consolideert deze in een gemeenschappelijke marketingweergave. Vanuit deze algemene weergave kunt u analytische resultaten extraheren die van onschatbare waarde kunnen zijn bij het stimuleren van uw marketinginspanningen.

Waarom marketinganalyses belangrijk zijn

In de loop van de jaren, toen bedrijven zich uitbreidden naar nieuwe marketingcategorieën, werden nieuwe technologieën aangenomen om hen te ondersteunen. Omdat elke nieuwe technologie doorgaans afzonderlijk werd geïmplementeerd, was het resultaat een mengelmoes van losgekoppelde data-omgevingen.

Daarom nemen marketeers beslissingen vaak op basis van gegevens van individuele kanalen (bijvoorbeeld digitale marketing en websitemetrics), waarbij geen rekening wordt gehouden met het hele marketingbeeld. Alleen gegevens van sociale media zijn niet voldoende. Alleen webanalysegegevens zijn niet voldoende. En tools die slechts een momentopname voor een enkel kanaal bekijken, zijn jammerlijk ontoereikend. Marketinganalyses houden daarentegen rekening met alle marketinginspanningen via alle kanalen gedurende een bepaalde periode - wat essentieel is voor een goede besluitvorming en een effectieve, efficiënte programma-uitvoering.
