Wat is Striptekenen ?
Het stripverhaal (ook beeldverhaal of strip genoemd) is een vertelvorm waarbij een verhaal verbeeld wordt door een aantal afbeeldingen, die achtereenvolgende scènes in het verhaal verbeelden. Een stripverhaal wordt gemaakt door een striptekenaar en een scenarioschrijver. Soms schrijft de tekenaar tevens het scenario, soms werken er meerdere personen aan het tekenwerk (schetsen, inkten, letteren) of aan het verhaal. Een typisch Amerikaanse vorm van een stripverhaal is de comic, een bekende Japanse versie is de manga.
