Prep problems for Selection School - Udemy

After doing well in the AIMO and being invited to the AMO, a young student who does well for his age (top15 out of grade 9 students out of Australians) are invited to Selection School which is a camp in Easter for students to start the path to IMO selection. The first stage is Junior, then recently added Intermediate stage plus the final Senior stage, which is divided again into contenders and trainees. The contenders then take an exam to be selected to represent Australia's IMO team.

The problems here are the number theory part of the problems sent to students before they arrive at the camp which is to help them transition into the style of problem solving at the camp that most are not familiar with despite doing well in more junior competitions.

Problems are explained without knowing the solution and is all about understanding the process that one can go through to successfully solve problems from beginning to end. Also a good source of experience for ambitious maths students who have not been exposed to maths competitions.

The problems N1 N2 N3 and N4 are given to students to prepare for Number theory for their first time at the Selection School camp. N3 and N4 are also given to the intermediate students who are returning campers.
