Hi, I'm Lindey Frances, owner of Blend Fitness Dance Studio.

I am here to show you basic moves that you can use at any sociable event. We all know how it feels to start moving and not know what to do with your body. I am here to gain your confidence so you can feel good and look good when you go out with your friends or family.

Dance is kind of like riding a bike, at first when riding a bike you might stumble a little bit, maybe even fall completely off. But then you get back up and keep going and eventually, your brain will go…lightbulb…and your body suddenly, naturally knows what to do. At first dance is going to be weird and awkward. We don’t dance in our every day lives, and if we did we would be seeing Glee moments everywhere. Dancing is something that with enough hard work, will feel good and natural. Dance is one of those things in life that makes you feel confident! So I am here to work with you, step by step to help you dance, feel confident and maintain that confidence!

My technique with teaching is to start off slow and work our way up, like building blocks. I will teach you a step and then go over that step enough to where you feel confident to move on to the next step. I will then build off of that step, maybe through in an arm or extra footwork. This course is all about you! You will be able to learn some hip-hop moves that you can take with you to the club, to the next family event, or maybe even a date. Impress the people you love. Impress yourself! You got this and I believe in you. I will be here with you every step of the way. Let’s go learn some dance moves!
