Wat is Fiverr ?
Fiverr is een online platform waarmee kopers en verkopers verbinding kunnen maken, zodat ze digitale diensten kunnen kopen en verkopen. Het dankt zijn naam aan de startprijs van services, die $ 5 is.
Fiverr is een online marktplaats voor freelancediensten met goedkope providers van over de hele wereld.
Het idee achter hun merk is om het proces van aanwerving of aangenomen worden als freelancer te stroomlijnen. De online marktplaats maakt de tussenpersoon van wervings-, ontslag- en HR-afdelingen overbodig. Kleinere bedrijven kunnen zaken per geval voor elkaar krijgen en freelancers hebben de vrijheid om hun diensten op elk moment aan elk bedrijf te verkopen.
Met Fiverr kunnen klanten vooraf betalen voor Gigs, die elke digitale service vormen, variërend van WordPress-ontwerp, logo-ontwerp, schrijfservices, transcripties tot zelfs voice-overwerk. Hoewel alle services bij de lancering van de site $ 5 kosten, kunnen freelancers nu hun prijs instellen op wat ze maar willen en kunnen ze pakketdeals of Gig-pakketten aanbieden.
Hoe werkt Fiverr?
Fiverr werkt door kopers vooraf te laten betalen voor "optredens", wat elk type freelancedienst is, variërend van webdesign en social media marketing tot copywriting. Toen Fiverr voor het eerst werd gelanceerd, waren alle optredens oorspronkelijk geprijsd op $ 5, maar nu kunnen freelanceverkopers besluiten meer in rekening te brengen of dienstenpakketten aan te bieden. Bestellingen worden doorgaans binnen een dag of twee voltooid, maar de levertijd wordt bepaald door de verkoper en kan langer duren als de verkoper een rij met bestellingen heeft. Wanneer uw bestelling succesvol is afgerond, ontvangt de verkoper 80% van de totale orderwaarde. Een gig van $ 5 betekent bijvoorbeeld dat de freelancer $ 4 ontvangt voor een voltooide bestelling.
